Lubuntu is a fast and lightweight operating system with a clean and easy-to-use user interface. It is a Linux system, that uses the minimal desktop LXDE, and a selection of light applications. Because of this, Lubuntu has very low hardware requirements. Lubuntu was founded by Mario Behling and has been grown for many years by Julien Lavergne.
Setup Virtual Box
Download and install VirtualBox from https://www.virtualbox.org/.
Enable Hardware Virtualization
Make sure that hardware virtualization extensions are enabled in your BIOS. Otherwise only 32 bit images are supported in VirtualBox. In order to enable hardware virtualization you have to restart your PC/Laptop and view the BIOS settings at startup.
